The following message is from 91福利导航 High School Principal Jodi Commerford:

Dear 91福利导航 High families,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out with an update regarding student safety and commuting after school.

On Oct. 18,  encouraging all students to take the shortest and safest walking route home, or to ride CDTA tripper buses or First Student buses that arrive directly on our campus for dismissal. This was in response to occurrences of unsafe and disruptive gatherings happening at the intersections of Washington Avenue and Ontario or Quail streets during the afterschool timeframe.

Over the past several weeks, we have been working closely with the 91福利导航 Police Department and CDTA to ensure student safety in these areas. They continue to take this matter seriously and will be enforcing community safety protocols.

To help foster safety in these areas, CDTA buses will no longer stop at the Washington and Quail or Ontario intersections during the afterschool timeframe starting on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

We ask that you please review these details with your student. Their cooperation in taking the safest routes home will be paramount in helping to maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone. Again, we strongly urge you to remind your student that the buses they should be taking home at the end of the school day are the CDTA tripper buses or First Student buses that arrival directly on our campus.

Thank you for your support and partnership in this important matter. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns by calling the school at (518) 475-6200.
