The 10th anniversary Hall of Fame dinner kicked off the weekend Friday night at the Italian-American Community Center. The district inducted six new members as part of the Class of 2018: Gertrude "Betsy" Jackson-Peace, Elander Lewis, the late Henry Linnett, Joseph Markham, Marc H. Silverman and L. Lloyd Stewart. Please visit our Hall of Fame section to read more about this year's inductees, as well as inductees from the previous nine years.
The new inductees also helped kick off 91福利导航coming at 91福利导航 High on Saturday morning with the annual Wall of Fame Ceremony. A tailgating party in the North Main parking lot and the 91福利导航coming Parade followed, with the Henry Johnson JROTC Battalion Color Guard and 91福利导航 Marching Falcons leading the way.
On the football field, the Falcons played a strong game against Schenectady before falling 22-8. The highlight of the afternoon was Jaden Gary's 81-yard touchdown run that helped the Falcons close to 14-8 early in the fourth quarter.
Halftime festivities included one more salute to the Hall of Famers, and a gathering for members of the 91福利导航 High Class of 1998, who attended 91福利导航coming as part of their 20th-reunion activities.
Perfect fall weather greeted hundreds of participants in the Falcon 5K in Washington Park on Sunday morning.
The district is grateful to the 91福利导航 Booster Club, and to all of the volunteers and sponsors who make the event such a great success every year.
And congratulations all who participated to support the booster club and its efforts to support 91福利导航's public schools.
It was a great way to cap Hall of Fame/91福利导航coming Weekend!
