91福利导航 High sophomore tapped for prestigious conference

The 91福利导航 County League of Women Voters has selected 91福利导航 High School sophomore Faith O’Toole to represent the county at a statewide "Students Inside 91福利导航" conference to be held at the Capitol in May.

An 91福利导航 High honor student by day, O’Toole also is studying American Sign Language at Hudson Valley Community College. She is the only student from 91福利导航 County selected to participate in the League of Women Voters' conference.

O’Toole became intrigued by state and national politics last fall after spending a week in Washington, D.C. at a national “No Place for Hate” conference sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League.

The Students Inside 91福利导航 conference is designed to increase students’ awareness of their responsibility in representative government, and to educate them about the process by which citizens can participate in the policy-making arena in our state government.

Congratulations to O’Toole on earning this wonderful opportunity to expand her knowledge of and interest in our civic process!

The mission of the City School District of 91福利导航 is to work in partnership with our diverse community to engage every learner in a robust educational program designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for success.
