As the year comes to an end, we have a lot of fun events and acitivities to celebrate a successful school year for our students and staff. Please refer to the Myers calendar on the district website for dates, times and additional information.
In order to participate in end-of-year events, scholars must:
- Be passing all core classes. (ELA, math, science, socialstudies)
- If a scholar is failing one or more classes for the year on the day of the event, he/she/they will be assigned to a mandatory study hall to resolve missing assignments
- No discipline referrals from June 1 to the day of the activity
As a reminder, grades close on Friday, June 17. Families and scholars should continue to monitor assignments and grades in SchoolTool. As stated above, students will be given the opportunity to complete owed work beyond this deadline on a case-by-case basis in assigned locations during days where grade level events are scheduled.
Moving Up Ceremony and Grade 8 Dance:
- Grade 8 Dance: June 23 from 5-7 p.m.
- Moving Up Ceremony: June 24 from 8:30 a.m-12 p.m.

In order to participate in these events, scholars must have passed 3 out of 4 core classes for the 2021-22 academic school year. Students will not be permitted to attend the Grade 8 Dance if they received a discipline referral June 1-June 23.
