During the , a program created to support New York State test preparation, students created a Shark Tank pitch (in alignment with English language arts priority standards) around the best cupcakes (in alignment with math priority standards). The project entailed practicing the writing process and continued to dive deeper into ratios and proportions. Students also participated in reading comprehension and writing workshops.
