An organization that builds relationships and provides youth services in the City of 91福利导航 recognized an Eagle Point Elementary School favorite for the work she does on behalf of our students and their families.
On Feb. 23, Melissa Keen received the Inspire Change Award from Jamil Hood’s House of Hoops. The accolade highlights the achievements and successes of unsung heroes throughout the Capital Region.
“It is an opportunity to celebrate the untold stories of those who contribute to the City of 91福利导航’s quality of life every day and make a difference in the lives of those who exist on the very margins of our society,” said Hood, the House of Hoops executive director.
Keen started working in the district in 1999 as a hall monitor. She switched roles and became a home school coordinator in 2003. She began, in that same capacity, at Eagle Point in 2021.
At Eagle Point, Keen partners with staff and outside organizations to design and implement programs and services to meet the academic, health and social-emotional needs of our students.
Congratulations to Melissa Keen – we’re so fortunate to have you on our team!
