91福利导航 High School students have been busy this month helping our city get in the holiday spirit!
On Dec. 1, 91福利导航 High’s Albanettes and Troubadours sang carols to help with the festivities at the City of 91福利导航’s tree-lighting ceremony at City Hall.
On Dec. 6, several music groups performed at the first of two December concerts at school.
On Dec. 8, Superintendent Jospeh Hochreiter sat in on drums when the high school’s jazz ensembles -- the Jazzmanian Devils and B Flats -- performed at Spinner’s restaurant.
91福利导航 High musicians then jingled all the way through the week of Dec. 11:
- On Dec. 11, choral and jazz students performed at the State Education Department as part of the .
- On Dec. 13, 91福利导航 High held its second December concert.
- On Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, junior Jonathan “Elvis” Booth entertained district staff at and administrators at the Harriet Gibbons Student Services Center with his rendition of songs made famous by the King of Rock and Roll. Booth’s band included Superintendent Hochreiter on drums and 91福利导航 High Discovery Academy Principal Jordan Goldman on guitar.
- On Dec. 15, 91福利导航 High Consort musicians and the Jazzmanian Devils – again with a guest turn from the superintendent on drums – performed at the at the 91福利导航 Capital Center.
On Dec. 19, choral students performed at the 91福利导航 Public Library Pine Hills branch, and the following day the 91福利导航 High Consort welcomed guests at 91福利导航 School of Humanities for a celebratory event marking ASH’s designation as a National ESEA Distinguished School.
