The following message is from 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School Principal Jodi Commerford.
Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers:
In an effort to increase attendance and promote acceptable behavior at 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School, I am writing to encourage you to remind your students of these school rules:
- Don’t leave school. 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School is a closed campus. This means students are not allowed to leave campus for any reason without parent permission, including lunch and study hall. If a student has an appointment – doctor, medical, family matter, etc. – they must have a note or phone call from a parent. All students must be signed out by a parent in order to leave school grounds. Students who leave campus without a valid reason will not be allowed to re-enter without a valid excuse.
- Keep student IDs visible. For the safety of all, student IDs must be visible and readily available at all times. In addition, all students must present an ID to any staff member upon request. Students who refuse to identify themselves will be directed to our School Resource Officer.
- Take the bus to and from Abrookin. All students are now required to take the bus between Abrookin and the main campus for any classes. This will prevent students from being late and having to go back through security, and it will ensure student safety. Students who do not take the bus will not be allowed to re-enter without parent contact.
- No ski masks. Ski masks are not permitted on campus. If a student is wearing one, it will be confiscated and returned only to a parent, guardian or caregiver.
- Attend every class. Students must attend all their classes, including lunch and study hall.
- No food delivery. Food delivery from restaurants or parents is not permitted and will not be allowed in the building.
- Don’t hang around. Students with late arrival or early dismissal should only be at school during their scheduled times or for scheduled activities. Also, students who leave early without a valid reason should not return to campus to loiter.
Students who persistently ignore these rules will face discipline and possible suspension per the Student Code of Conduct.
