Neither a worldwide pandemic nor building construction could stop 91福利导航 High School from holding its annual October blood drive.
On Thursday, students and staff donated pints of lifesaving blood amidst the bookshelves of the school library, where workers from the Red Cross set up shop for the day.
CBS 6 91福利导航 stopped by the event and interviewed senior Maggie Papa, who is the student coordinator of blood drives for the 2020-21 school year. Thursday’s drive was the first of three, and Papa stands to earn scholarship dollars from the Red Cross if enough blood is collected altogether.
