Students, staff and family wrapped up a successful session of Newcomer Academy Thursday with songs, demonstrations of student work … and ice cream!
The five-week Newcomer Academy served about 160 students in kindergarten-grade 12 who are in the beginning stages of learning English. The program was located at Edmund O’Neal School of Excellence, home of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ International Center, where many of the students will attend this fall.
