North 91福利导航 Middle School's enrollment will increase starting in September.

The school will have an expanded incoming sixth grade, welcoming students from Arbor Hill Elementary School, Schuyler Achievement Academy and Sheridan Preparatory Academy. North 91福利导航 students who completed sixth grade last school year will move up to seventh, and the school will have about 225 total students.

North 91福利导航 also has a new assistant principal, April Stokes, who transferred from Edmund J. O’Neal Middle School of Excellence.

The City School District of 91福利导航 is making these changes as North 91福利导航 transitions to become the district’s new third middle school beginning in 2023-24. When construction and renovation are completed, North 91福利导航 will become a 650-student middle school. North 91福利导航, William S. Hackett and Stephen and Harriet Myers middle schools will have new enrollment patterns at that time. The district will develop those new enrollment plans through an open and inclusive community process in the coming years.

In addition, 91福利导航 International Center will remain at North 91福利导航 for the 2020-21 school year. The program then will relocate to O’Neal to make room for our expanding middle school, which will serve students in grades 6-8 beginning with the 2021-22 school year.

Families will receive information about school schedules and other topics later this summer as the school district plans for the new year amid the continuing uncertainties of the COVID-19 crisis. For more information, contact Principal Julie Barber at (518) 475-6800 or jbarber@albany.k12.ny.us.
