The City School District of 91福利导航's three middle schools will dismiss early on Wednesday, Jan. 16 so that staff may attend professional development training.
Students at Edmund J. O'Neal Middle School of Excellence, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School and William S. Hackett Middle School will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. CDTA buses will be available to transport students home at that time, and all after-school activities will be canceled. Families should make arrangements so that students can enter their homes earlier than usual on Jan. 16.
Please note that modified athletics will take place Jan. 16. At dismissal, student-athletes should report to the school library, where they will be supervised by staff until the regular start time for their practice or game.
Professional development provides an important opportunity for staff in schools to come together and learn about the best ways to serve students.
