The following is an important message from Giffen Memorial Elementary School Principal Jasmine Brown:
The safety of our students and staff members is our top priority at Giffen Memorial Elementary School. In an effort to keep all students, faculty and staff safe we are required to hold practice fire drills, lockdown drills and building evacuation drills.
On Wednesday (April 13) we practiced our procedures for a building lockdown. This was only a drill and at no time was anyone in our building in any danger.
We will continue to conduct fire drills, lockdown drills and a building evacuation drill. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the procedures, we follow please feel free to schedule a time to meet with Mr. William Flax-Leight, Assistant Principal; Ms. Nichol Dickson, Assistant Principal or myself.
