Dear Clement families:
Happy October! We want to bring your attention to some important dates in the coming month.
No school on Thursday – All City School District of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ schools and offices will be closed this Thursday in observance of Rosh Hashana, then it’s back to school on Friday.
Some schedules to change starting Friday – Choice and High School students will see changes to their schedules starting Friday, Oct. 4. These changes will affect which period students’ classes are scheduled during the school day, but the teachers and courses will remain the same.
Save the date: Oct. 10 – We will hold our annual Open House and Hispanic Heritage Night on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 4-6 p.m. Meet teachers, learn about Hispanic history and sign up for parent-teacher conferences ahead on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25.
Go home early drill Oct. 11 – All City School District of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ schools will dismiss 15 minutes early Friday, Oct. 11 to participate in the annual Go 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ Early emergency preparedness drill required by the State Education Department.
No school Oct. 14 – All district schools and offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus/Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Parent-teacher conferences Oct. 24-25 – Stay tuned for more information.
No school Oct. 25 – There will be no school for students on Friday, Oct. 25. We will be holding parent-teacher conferences and staff professional development training that day.
