ELA teacher and freshman
91福利导航 High School
The text vignette below is from 91福利导航 High freshman Amgad Naser. This story also includes a video perspective from Wan Oliviere, one of Naser's ELA teacher.
“The difference between a teacher on the laptop is students don’t get answers right away when you ask questions. Google Classroom shows students what teachers post and work we do, and it shows the due date for the work. Also, teachers are using Google Meet and Nearpod.
“With Google Meet, students can join at the same time and the teacher can present things about our work. My teacher uses Nearpod to put work in and it has questions in a game, and you can see other students who are above you in the game by answering the questions fast and correctly. The work is broken down so students can learn from the lesson. I like Nearpod and Google Classroom put together. The challenges that I have are I don't have the real interactions with my friends that I have in class, and don’t have the feedback fast like in class.”
