Every year, Founders’ Day recognizes people who give their time and talents to support students throughout the City School District of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½. Founders’ Day is sponsored by the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ City Council PTA (ACCPTA), an umbrella organization made up of parent-teacher associations at schools throughout the district.
This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 27 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at the Italian-American Community Center. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased through individual school PTAs, PTSAs or the Montessori Community Council.
The event will feature special performances and displays, a silent auction, music and dancing. All proceeds benefit a Scholarship Fund for 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ High School students.
The ACCPTA is seeking volunteers, sponsors and donations of silent auction items for 2018 Founders’ Day. To volunteer or learn more about being a sponsor, contact KathrynBamberger@yahoo.com. For silent auction donations, please contact Beth Joslin at joslins@earthlink.net.
