It’s day one of summer break and if your student is already looking for something to do, the City of 91福利导航 has your family covered.
Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams joined 91福利导航 Mayor Kathy Sheehan, 91福利导航 Public Library Executive Director Scott Jarzombek, and Department of Recreation Commissioner Jonathan Jones to announce a scheduled to be held throughout 91福利导航 this summer.
“It takes a community to ensure our students’ success,” said Adams at the Lincoln Park Pool event where the the first-of-its-kind map for 91福利导航 students and young people was announced.
The online directory provides the name, program description, age requirements, start and end dates and times, cost (if any), contact information and whether or not transportation and meals are provided. It can be filtered for easier use and is downloadable.
“It’s great to have partners in the City who think holistically about what our kids need,” explained Mayor Sheehan.
In addition to providing quick and easy information to families, the database is expected to help city leaders, the district and community partners determine where there are gaps so meaningful and safe activities can be added in future years.

The mission of the City School District of 91福利导航 is to educate and prepare all students for college and career, citizenship and life, in partnership with our diverse community. The district serves approximately 9,300 students in 18 elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic opportunities for students, including four themed academies at 91福利导航 High School.
