The City School District of 91福利导航 Board of Education has appointed Kimberly J. Rohring to serve as the district’s new deputy superintendent for business and finance. Rohring will begin July 1 and will replace Bill Hogan, who is retiring this summer after 11 years in the position.
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Rohring comes to 91福利导航 from the Cornwall Central School District, where she has served as assistant superintendent for business for the past year. In that role, she was responsible for developing and managing an annual budget to serve more than 3,200 students.
She also was responsible for purchasing, all business office functions, buildings and grounds, food service and transportation, among other duties.
“We are excited to welcome Kimberly Rohring to the City School District of 91福利导航 in this critical role,” said Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams. “We believe she will be an excellent addition to our leadership team, our school district and our community.
“We also are grateful to Mr. Hogan for his dedication to this important work over the past 11 years. She served as the lead business official in the Bloomfield Central School District from March 2017 through June 2018, assistant school business manager for finance/budget analyst for the Greece Central School District from 2013-17, and a business office assistant in the Pittsford Central School District during the 2012-13 school year.
Her previous school district experience includes six years in the Rochester City School District, where she served as a project director in the Department of Government Relations and Special Projects and as special/executive assistant to the Board of Education.
“I am excited to be joining this dynamic team whose collective focus is on serving the students and community of 91福利导航, working on continuous improvement and doing so in a sustainable way,” Rohring told the board following her appointment.
“As someone who strives for excellence in all that I do, I welcome this new challenge. I am truly happy to be part of this team and am ready to serve the students and families of the City School District of 91福利导航.”
