Congratulations to Kayla Huba!
The senior placed second overall in Wednesday's girls' track and field Suburban Council Championships with a time of 26.57 in the 200m.
The 4x100m relay team of Ahriah Baynes, Teanna Lowe, Huba and Trinity Grant also scored points for the Falcon with a sixth-place finish and time of 52.28. Huba also competed in the 4x400m relay race.
The team will be competing again next Wednesday in Sectionals at Colonie HIgh School. The results from that meet determine which student-athletes qualify for the state championship meet.
